Rui Zhong is a Senior Associate at Huck Capital, committed to helping build companies that will thrive in the imminent sustainable energy transition.

At Huck, Rui leverages her prior investment banking and academic experience to support the team in research, financial models, vision communication, and deal execution. She is thrilled to work at the intersection of sustainable energy and finance.

Prior to joining Huck, Rui developed her passion for the sustainable industry at Nomura Greentech (previously Greentech Capital Advisors) and FTI Consulting’s Clean Energy group. At Nomura Greentech, she focused on the Energy Technology and Renewable Energy Value Chain sectors, covering disruptors to incumbents. Her transaction experience includes the sale of Enbala Power Networks to Generac, buy side transactions for a public company and a SPAC process for an ESG company.

Rui is motivated to help accelerate the proliferation of game-changing technology that is necessary for the sustainability of our planet.  

Rui graduated from The University of Michigan, Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
