Theo Ubben is an Associate at Huck Capital, committed to using the capital markets to make an impact on environmental sustainability.
At Huck, Theo uses his professional and education experience in energy to help the firm pursue its goal of building the next generation of sustainable energy providers. He is an integral part of formatting, organizing and operating Huck’s data room and interacting with prospective investors on requests. He leads market research for potential Fund investments and supports the operating partners in deal sourcing, financial modeling, and operational execution.
Prior to joining Huck Capital, Theo gained important experience at Arcadia Power, a retail electricity provider, where he was responsible for supporting business development efforts by assisting in partnership acquisitions. He also managed data collection of energy generation and customer activity associated with their community solar program launched in 2017. He then moved to Energy Impact Partners, a strategic investment fund. There he performed research reports on specific markets, energy procurement trends, and renewable energy policies.
Theo graduated from Duke University with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy.
Theo is passionate about innovative technology, hard work, the outdoors and combatting climate change. He is thrilled to join the team at Huck Capital.
